Star Wars, the science fiction film debuted way back in 1977. The fictional universe created by George Lucas has since extended into games, toys and animated shows and more movies. And that’s good because some of us can’t get enough of it ;). Although it’s been nearly forty years after the movie first came out, Star Wars is somehow still relevant and surprisingly popular with kids. Kids seem to love Darth Vader the most. Never has a bad guy from the movies been loved so much. (I think it’s because Darth repents in the end.)
One branch of Star Wars fandom comes in the form of Lego Star Wars sets that feature the characters from the film series. Here’s a run down of our favorite sets. Note: we provide an Amazon link to each lego set. But Amazon does not always have the best price. Often Walmart.com has a better price and if you are for some reason a toysrus.com loyalist, they will price match with Amazon, you just need to put the item in your cart and then start a chat with customer service and tell them you want to price match the item.
